Chesnutt is a seasoned financial executive with decades of leadership experience at Genuine Parts Company, a global, publicly traded enterprise operating across automotive and industrial distribution markets. Over the course of his tenure, he held multiple senior roles spanning finance, technology, and operations, culminating in his appointment as Senior Vice President and Treasurer in 2016.

In this role, Mr. Chesnutt was responsible for overseeing the company’s global treasury function, including capital allocation, liquidity management, financial risk oversight, and banking relationships. His leadership helped support the financial infrastructure of a multi-billion-dollar organization, ensuring disciplined capital deployment and operational stability at scale. Genuine Parts Company reported total sales of $24.3 billion for the full year 2025.

Earlier in his career, Mr. Chesnutt served in roles including Vice President – Finance and Secretary, as well as Senior Vice President – Technology & Process.
