About

Dorrin Johnson is the Founder and Managing Member of Johnson Millennium, a private investment and holding company that builds and scales category-defining businesses across luxury real estate, technology, consumer products, and performance platforms.

Trained as a psychologist, his career began as a therapist with the NYC Department of Health, where he spent five years working directly with individuals navigating complex behavioral and mental health challenges. That early foundation continues to inform his approach to leadership, brand strategy, and customer engagement, shaping a philosophy that combines behavioral insight with disciplined execution.

With more than three decades of experience spanning corporate leadership, media, and entrepreneurship, Dorrin’s work focuses on the intersection of culture, commerce, and human behavior. Earlier in his career he led enterprise strategy at Verizon Wireless, managing a global team of more than 200 professionals and a $468M revenue portfolio serving Fortune 100 clients.

As an entrepreneur, he built Sanjika Worldwide into a marketing, representation, and consulting firm whose clients included Samsung, Reebok, Marriott, GEICO, Miller Brewing Company, AirTran Airways, Bimbo Bakeries, SportsClips, and Dave & Buster’s.

His work in entertainment included representing NFL athletes and negotiating music placements that contributed to 24 gold and 15 platinum albums. He also developed licensing relationships involving artists such as Metallica and film studios including New Line Cinema. Earlier in his career he gained experience in television production while employed with HBO and later worked in independent production with BET.

In the public sector, Dorrin served as a strategic advisor to a major New York City mayoral campaign in 2021, helping guide a turnaround from a 25-point polling deficit to a successful primary victory and general election win. In 2023, he also provided strategic support to the re-election campaign of the Gwinnett County District Attorney in Georgia, the largest and most racially diverse county in the southeastern United States.

Today, Dorrin oversees Johnson Millennium’s investment platform, guiding capital allocation, brand architecture, and long-term strategy across the firm’s expanding portfolio of companies and initiatives. His leadership focuses on building durable businesses designed for long-term value creation, disciplined governance, and scalable ecosystem growth.
